Mango Lassi

Lassi is a very popular summer drink in India. It is basically a yoghurt-based drink. It can be sweet or salty. Mango Lassi is one of the most popular, and everyone loves it. It is a thick and creamy sweet lassi. This classic, everyone’s favourite drink to enjoy at any Indian restaurants can be easily made at home. Only you will need ripe mango, yoghurt, a little milk and sugar.

You can also add a pinch of ground cardamom or splash of rose water, but I love my mango lassi without adding any extra flavour!

Tips and Tricks:

  • You can adjust the quantity of milk in your Lassi depending on how thick or thin you prefer your Lassi.
  • The good, ripe mangoes that are usually found in summer season in India they are non-fibrous and pulpy. But the mangoes that we found here in Spain they have quite a lot of fibre. So, I prefer to strain them after blending them.
  • You can choose any sweetener of your preference.
