Coriander Seeds (Dhania)

Coriander is the dried seeds of the plant Coriandrum Sativum, the same family of parsley. The fresh leaves are known as Cilantro which has a delicate citrusy flavour. The coriander seeds have a warm and nutty flavour with a hint of citrus. They are used whole and powdered form. In Indian cuisine, it is commonly paired with cumin powder to make the curry dish.
